Peningkatan Prestasi Belajar IPA melalui Model Pembelajaran Group Investigation (GI) pada Siswa Kelas VII-A MTs NW Lenek 1

Abstract

This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to improve science learning achievement among students of Class VII-A at MTs NW Lenek 1 by using the Group Investigation (GI) model. The purpose of this research is to determine the enhancement of science achievement in Class VII-A students through the application of the GI learning model. Based on the research results and discussions, the GI learning model can increase the activity and science achievement of Class VII-A students at MTs NW Lenek 1 during the first semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. This improvement is evident from the scores of student activities, teacher activities, average class scores, and the level of classical completeness, which showed increases in both Cycle I and Cycle II. The data analysis results for each cycle indicate that there was an improvement from Cycle I to Cycle II. During the learning process and data analysis of Cycle I, the average score for student activity was 2.84, and in Cycle II, it increased to 3.85. Additionally, the classical completeness increased from 66% in Cycle I to 94% in Cycle II.
