Abstract

This research aims to provide an understanding of the influence of learning media in improving student learning outcomes in Class II MI NW Bungtiang for the 2023/2024 academic year. This type of research is qualitative descriptive research. The data collection technique in this research uses Observation, Interview, Documentation, and Triangulation/Combined techniques and this data collection technique is through: interview sheets, observation sheets, student activity sheets, student learning activity observation sheets and teacher observation sheets. The research results show that media plays an important role in the teaching and learning process to improve student learning outcomes. From the media that we create and designing the media as well as possible, it will make students more interested in learning. Using media can make it easier to convey material and as a support or support for the continuity of learning, especially for class II students at Madrasah Ibthidaiyah level, media is really needed. Data analysis in this research is data codification, data presentation, and drawing conclusions/verification. Based on data analysis, data was obtained on forming students' interest in learning through the use of learning media in the teaching and learning process. Teachers carry out their role in using learning media to improve student learning outcomes so that teachers act as Facilitators, Models and Exemplars, Educators and Supervisors.
