Komparasi Model Pembelajaran Problem Solving dengan Model Improving Learning terhadap Prestasi Belajar IPS

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of student success in social studies subjects using a problem solving learning model which is compared with the improving learning model for grade VIII students at MTs NW Selebung Ketangga in the 2019/2020 academic year. The sample in this study were students of class VIIIA as the experimental group 1 with 27 students consisting of 8 boys and 19 girls and class VIIIB as the experimental group 2 with 26 students consisting of 16 boys. male and 10 female. The lowest value for the experimental group 1 is 50 and the highest value is 95 and for the experimental group 2 the lowest value is 40 and the highest value is 85 so that the average value of 72.5 is a standard deviation of 14.12 for the experimental group. 1, and for the experimental group 2 the average value is 66.5 and the standard deviation is 12.98. So it can be concluded that there are differences in social studies learning outcomes using the problem solving learning model with the improving learning model.
