Upaya Meningkatkan Kemampuan Motorik Halus Anak melalui Kegiatan Mencocok Pola Sederhana pada Kelompok B TK Nusa Indah

Abstract

The low level of fine motor skills among early childhood learners, particularly in matching activities, has become a primary concern at TK Nusa Indah Meho, Bintang Ara District. This study aims to determine the improvement of children's fine motor skills through simple pattern-matching activities in Group B at TK Nusa Indah Meho during the 2016/2017 academic year. The research employed a Classroom Action Research approach conducted over the second semester of the 2016/2017 academic year, involving 22 children (12 boys and 10 girls) as subjects. The study was carried out in two cycles. Results showed that the classical learning mastery increased from 66.7% in the first cycle to 87.9% in the second cycle. These findings indicate that assigning tasks involving simple pattern-matching activities directly stimulates children's interest and skills in completing tasks neatly and effectively. In conclusion, children's fine motor skills can be enhanced through structured matching activities, supported by appropriate media and tools, and implemented optimally at each stage of development.
